Welcome to InTheRoom ("InTheRoom", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the InTheRoom platform. By creating an account or using InTheRoom, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
InTheRoom is a location-based social platform designed to help users discover and connect with people who are in the same physical or social environment.
You may only use InTheRoom if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and meet any applicable age requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with the laws applicable to you.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must not share your account credentials with another person or create accounts for deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
InTheRoom uses location information and geofencing to provide certain location-based features. Depending on the room, you may be required to physically be within an applicable location or permitted area to join or remain in a room.
InTheRoom may periodically verify your location while you are participating in a room. If you leave the permitted area, lose required location access, or the platform determines that you are no longer within the applicable area, you may be automatically removed from the room.
Location technology is not guaranteed to be perfectly accurate. GPS, device settings, network conditions, browser permissions, and environmental conditions may affect location accuracy.
Users may create profiles, upload photographs, send messages, and submit other content through InTheRoom.
You remain responsible for content you submit. You must have the necessary rights to any content you upload and must not submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
InTheRoom may provide direct messaging and image-sharing functionality. You are responsible for how you communicate with other users.
You must not use messaging features for spam, harassment, threats, scams, unsolicited commercial activity, or other abusive behaviour.
InTheRoom may provide account or identity verification features. Verification is intended to increase trust and platform safety but does not guarantee that a user is trustworthy, safe, genuine, or suitable for interaction.
Users must not submit false, altered, stolen, or fraudulent identification or verification information.
InTheRoom provides features such as blocking, reporting, verification, and location-based controls to support user safety.
However, InTheRoom cannot guarantee the behaviour, identity, intentions, or safety of other users. You are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when communicating with or meeting people through the platform.

InTheRoom may provide free and premium functionality. Premium features are available subject to the applicable subscription price, billing terms, and feature limitations displayed at the time of purchase.
We may change, improve, restrict, or discontinue features from time to time. Subscription status may also be suspended or revoked where an account violates these Terms, is involved in fraud, or where required for security or legal reasons.
Payments for InTheRoom subscriptions are processed through the payment methods and payment providers made available on the platform.
Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy and any applicable consumer protection laws.

Your use of InTheRoom is also subject to our Privacy Policy , which explains how we collect, use, protect, and process personal information.
We aim to keep InTheRoom available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access to the platform.
Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, network issues, third-party services, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
InTheRoom may rely on third-party services for functions such as hosting, payments, maps, geolocation, notifications, communications, or other infrastructure.
Your use of certain features may therefore also be subject to the terms and policies of those third-party providers.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the account or its activity violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the safety and security of InTheRoom or its users.
We may also take action where necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or other harmful activity.
You may request deletion of your InTheRoom account. Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
InTheRoom's software, branding, design, logos, interfaces, and other platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.
InTheRoom provides tools for discovering and communicating with other people. We do not guarantee that users will respond to messages, meet expectations, form relationships, or behave appropriately.
You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions with other users.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, InTheRoom is not responsible for losses, harm, damages, or consequences arising from interactions between users, inaccurate user-provided information, interruptions to the service, GPS or location inaccuracies, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to InTheRoom, new features, security requirements, or applicable legal obligations.
Continued use of InTheRoom after updated Terms become available may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
